About us

A&M Contractors is a long-established business with roots in groundworks, landscaping and agriculture. Our in-depth knowledge, reputation for excellence and competitive edge enabled us to diversify into the development and construction of utility solar PV.

Starting off with projects involving PV road construction, drainage and fence installation, our expertise and understanding in matters of groundworks, land and agriculture led us into supporting wider construction activity; pre-construction land preparation; supporting archaeologists and ecologists during construction and delivering landscape plans and enhancements in the post-construction and operations phase.

Over the last two years we have delivered road, drainage and fence construction for 160MW of utility scale solar and BESS. Our services have also supported our clients discharge pre-start planning conditions on nearly 350MW PV and BESS systems in England and Wales, from site preparation and establishment to grass and hedge cutting and maintenance.

Now, as our clients focus on grid reform and readiness, we are well placed to support them with services and solutions for delivering utility scale PV projects efficiently and cost effectively on the ground.
